International Award for Business Excellence

In recognition of EC’s long history and the distinguished
approach committed by its management, it was awarded the
International Award for Business Excellence (new
millennium award) by the Trade Leaders’ Club - Madrid;
Spain.2011
The Editorial Ofice in collaboration with Trade Leaders’
Club; based in Madrid; Spain, evaluate major companies in
different industries and services all over the world. They
establish a committee with the purpose of selecting the most
distinguished companies according to stratification of their
products, services, managerial and organizational
techniques.
EC, among other 35 major companies selected from 25 country
worldwide (i.e. China, Mexico, Iran, turkey, Lebanon,
Emirates , Brazil, Mexico,
Malaysia , Kazakhstan,
Vietnam, Philippines, Bosnia, Mozambique, Angola,
Chile, Middle Africa), was awarded “the gold medal and the
International Excellence (the new millennium award)”.
EC delegation included Mr. Farag Murad Reyad; head of Export
Sector and Eng. Magdy Zaky El-Lethy; head of Industrial
Planning received the award.
A great Ceremony was held on 7th of November 2011
at Melia Castilla hotel; Madrid; Spain attended by Mr.
Arsenio Pardo Rodriguez, president of the Editorial Ofice,
the general secretary of the club and a large number of
businesses along with representatives of the awarded
companies
In addition to the above, Consul Ahmed Mohammed Tayea,
representative of the Egyptian embassy in Madrid and
Salvador Meedna, EC agent in Spain, were invited. In this
respect, Mr. Farag Murad, head of export sector, delivered a
speech introducing Eastern Company; its activities,
production capacity, sales volume and its role in national
income and reviewed some features of the industrial complex
in October, followed by Mr. Arsenio Pardo Rodriguez handing
the certificate, gold medal and the award given to the
Company.
